| Up in the mountains behind S.B. just off the San Marcos pass, a wealthy music lover songwriter purchased a 27 acer property which, in the 17 and 18 hundreds was the home of the Chumash (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) indians. By the 1870's they were "REMOVED" from their property and a tavern and stage coach station was established. In the photo above David, standing on the stage coach trail explains the history which at present is a recording studio / retreat for song writers and musicians. |
