PLAYBALL RECORDING STUDIOS

Back in Ventura and Santa Barbara.

David West is one of the finest string instrument  players  you will ever hear. Bold statement to be sure but true none the less.
Up in the mountains behind S.B. just off the San Marcos  pass, a wealthy  music lover songwriter purchased a 27 acer property which, in the 17 and 18 hundreds was the home of the Chumash (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) indians. By the 1870's they were "REMOVED" from their property and a tavern and stage coach station was established. In the photo above David, standing on the stage coach trail explains the history which at present is a recording studio / retreat  for song writers and musicians.

The former tavern and stage coach station as well as guest houses, have been completely restored to it's original  form by it's wealthy owner.
